NEA announces tighter industrial emissions standards for better air quality.

[NEA News Release, 20 Mar 2015]"The introduction of the more stringent standards will serve to improve our air quality as we strive towards achieving our air quality goals for 2020 and beyond." EPMA (Air Impurities Regulations) takes effect from 1 July 2015.

 

No. S 299 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT ACT (CHAPTER 94A) ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT (OFF-ROAD DIESEL ENGINE EMISSIONS) REGULATIONS 2012

With effect from 1 July 2012, all off-road diesel engines used in Singapore are required to be tested for its emissions in compliance with the EPMA (Off-Road Diesel Engine Emissions) Regulations 2012.
